rap-X
is designed to maximise the value of your user's time. To this end, we
have developed an unusually flexible notifications mechanism, which informs
the right people at the right time of key activity, and then guides them
to precisely the right location for each workflow process.
Notifications are system generated messages which inform interested parties
of relevant activity in
rap-X
. Users can
personalise
their settings to ensure that they receive only the notifications they
require.
The system administrator can
configure
the global settings for any installation of
rap-X. Messages contain links taking the user directly into the item (request,
proposal or news) that generated the notification. For example, notifications
could be generated in the following situations:
- you publish a product related news item via
rap-X
on your website, customers will automatically receive an e-mail containing
a summary of the news and a direct HTML link to the details on your
web site.
- your support personnel resolve and close a customer request, customers
will automatically receive an e-mail notifying them of the resolution,
and a direct HTML link to the details on your web site.
- you publish a proposal to deliver new features, customers will automatically
receive an e-mail with a direct HTML link enabling them to vote support
(or not) so that you can accurately assess customer demand.
