Licensed Product

Licensing is the traditional model where your organization installs, hosts and supports rap-X . rap-X is designed for maximum portability. It is developed in 100% Java to run on any server platform, and the application design is tiered to separate presentation, application logic and data. As such, rap-X will run with any SQL database.

This model is suited to organizations that are willing to pay for this cost in order to benefit from the following:

• complete control of security, operations, and performance
• complete look and feel customisation (i.e. in-house developed user interface over rap-X application components)
• local integration with internal systems
  

Licensed Product fees are calculated per installation, where one installation is defined as:

• One logical instance of rap-X (e.g. one server, or one server cluster)
• One logical backup instance (i.e. only accessed if the primary server(s) fail)
